Our take. Estimate the texts and pictures your team actually sends.

Published plan: Quoted subscription plus message credits

What the service is for.

Textline offers business SMS/MMS with team workflows, API access and webhooks. The reviewed pricing page does not advertise native iMessage. If your staff simply need a shared place to handle customer texts, the product may still belong in the conversation.

What goes into the estimate.

Essentials lists three agents and a minimum 600 included credits, with a quoted subscription. Extra credits are $0.03 and backup credits $0.04. A picture message uses three credits. Ask how long texts are counted, include carrier registration costs, and bring a typical month’s message mix to the quote.

Keep the evaluation simple.

Ask the provider to show an incoming question, a teammate taking over and a customer asking not to receive further messages. Check who sees each state and what staff need to do. A credit table is useful for budgeting, but it does not tell you whether the team will find the working screen easy to use. We have not tested that experience firsthand.
